Wedding Day

What time starts?

The ceremony begins promptly at 3 PM in Barberstown Castle's beautiful Conservatory.

Where to park?

Guest parking for those not staying at Barberstown is available near the main entrance with clear signage. Just follow the signs for hotel guests. Parking at Barberstown is self parking.

Is there a dress code?

Our wedding, as one would expect in a Castle, is a Black Tie affair though for those for whom this would pose difficulty Formal Wedding Attire is acceptable as well.

Brenny and I love colors so feel free to liven things up.

Are kids invited?

We love kids but this event is adults only to keep it intimate.

Will food be served?

There will be plenty of food throughout the day starting with appertizers, followed by a formal sit down dinner, and as the party goes into the late hours there will be a second serving of food to keep the momentum going.

How long will the celebration last?

Our wedding celebration is a two day affair with the Ceremony and formal reception on May 28th followed by a Pig Roast at the Haggard Pub on Barberstown Castle grounds. Our pub party will start at 2pm and go through into the evening. You'll be able to feast on a Pig Roast and then burn the calories off dancing to a traditional Irish band.
